About the Event:

About this Activity

Join us for a thought-provoking and informative online climate series that delves into the urgent issue of climate change. This series aims to deepen our understanding of the causes and consequences of climate change while highlighting the importance of individual and collective action.

In this forth session we discuss food, glorious food. Food is life sustaining. Many of our social and family activities revolve around its preparation and consumption. But did you know that that we waste an average of 1/3 of our food, and that its production is also the leading cause of biodiversity loss globally?

There are ways to make it more sustainable.

Join us for this 1 hour masterclass session to deepen your understanding of how the UAE and organisations like Emirates Nature – WWF are supporting food systems transformation towards becoming more circular and nature positive. You’ll also learn how food production and policies affect climate change and species loss. More importantly, you’ll learn how individual choices can help or hinder the impact of food systems every day.
