5-day Work-experience Week

Ever wondered what it's actually like to work in conservation? This is your chance to find out.

Join Connect with Nature at the Plant Genetic Resources Centre in Al Ain for a hands-on work experience where you'll step into the role of a real researcher. Clean and sort seeds, work with state-of-the-art germination lab machinery, mount native plant species in a herbarium, conduct soil and purity tests, and digitise and database plant collections — all in a working conservation facility.

If you're 16+ and curious about a future in environmental science or conservation, this is the experience to kick things off. Walk away with practical skills, real lab experience, and a clearer picture of where a green career could take you.
