Sprint for Change is our exciting summer series designed to get you learning, exploring, and taking action for nature!

Through hands-on workshops and challenges focused on climate, pollution, and biodiversity, you’ll dive into key issues aligned with global IUCN goals and discover how YOU can make a difference! This is your chance to build your knowledge, connect with others, and take action that truly matters. Whether you're joining online or in person, each session brings you one step closer to creating a positive impact.

Take part in any 3 workshops and/or online sessions, and complete 2 challenges to earn a certificate and be recognised for your dedication to a better planet.

About the Challenge:

Plastic pollution is one of the most visible and harmful forms of waste affecting our ecosystems, especially marine life. A personal plastic audit helps raise awareness of our individual footprint and inspires behavior change.

Your mission:

• For 2 full days, collect all the plastic waste you personally generate.

• Arrange the waste into a creative, meaningful, or artistic display.

• Get creative! showcase your plastic in a meaningful way through a photo

Submission Guidelines:

Each entry should include:

• Your name and email

• Challenge title

• Uploud your photo

• Optional: Instagram handle if you'd like to be tagged!

Tips and Suggestions:

• Group items. Organize plastic into categories before photographing (food wrappers, packaging, bottles, etc.).

• Be honest! This challenge isn’t about perfection, it’s about awareness.

• Think beyond the bin:

  • Can you reuse any item (e.g., containers, bags)?

  • Could any piece be upcycled into art for your challenge submission?

• Separate recyclables and place them in designated recycling bins or drop-off centers.

There might be a chance for your work to be highlighted on our social media platforms, especially if your submission stands out for its creativity, originality, or impact!
