Join us for an immersive online session as we dive into the rich marine biodiversity of the UAE held by our co-founding partner Emirates Nature-WWF. Discover the vibrant underwater world and the fascinating lives of its marine creatures!
In this session, we'll explore the diverse habitats of marine creatures such as the endangered hawksbill turtle, vibrant coral reefs, Dugongs, and more. You will also learn about the impacts of climate change on these fragile ecosystems!
We'll also highlight ongoing conservation efforts aimed at safeguarding marine biodiversity in the face of climate change. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of marine ecosystems and connect with others committed to environmental conservation.
ABOUT THE SERIES
This session is also part of a 10-session series, where you will explore the rich tapestry of life unique to the UAE, from the expansive desert sands to the hidden oases, freshwater habitats, and coastal regions, while understanding the intricate link between biodiversity and climate change!
Through expert-led discussions, you'll gain a deep understanding of the importance of biodiversity conservation, sustainable stewardship practices, and their role in mitigating climate change and preserving the UAE's natural heritage.
By attending a total of 7 sessions, you will receive a certificate of completion, recognizing your commitment to environmental education and conservation efforts in the region!
